Celebrate a Real Argentinian Christmas

This Christmas we’re trading the turkey for asado, mince pies for pan dulce and After Eights for turrón – and we want YOU to enjoy this real Argentinian Christmas with us.

You’ll notice the festive decorations we’ve put up on our blog and our Facebook and Twitter pages, but those aren’t the only things to look out for. This month we’ll be giving away goodies, sharing traditional Navidad tips and asking for your real Argentinian recommendations on what makes the perfect Christmas.

Argentinian Christmas Hamper Giveaway

First up, we’re giving away a hamper of traditional Argentinian Christmas goodies worth £150. We’ll be running the competition on Facebook, so watch out for updates in the coming days (first one here), and make sure you take part to be in with a chance of winning our hand-picked Navidad treats.

Navidad Recipe Book

On top of that we’re going to give away a free e-book of traditional Argentinian Christmas recipes: The Navidad Recipe Book! This festive food handbook will include our choices of traditional Argentinian dishes, but we also want YOURS in there too. Simply recommend your favourite Argentinian (or Argentine-influenced) Christmas recipes so we can write them into the book along with ours, which we’ll then publish online to all fans of The Real Argentina. So look out on Facebook and Twitter for when we start posting recipes here and get ready to send yours in.

Our 12 Wines of Christmas

We’ll also be giving more food and wine recommendations with our special Twelve Wines of Christmas series. Each day, for a twelve day period, we’ll be recommending a delicious wine that is a perfect accompaniment for a traditional Christmas dish.
